Hello, and Welcome to KamaKase™.com.
My name is Toby Smith (KamaKase), and this is my personal space where I post things about my various endevours. You can check some of them out on the Stuff page, carry on reading through this page, or just browse this site at your own will. Enjoy! (You can contact me through the About page).

Long time no see
15:00 7th Aug 2007
KamaKase.com is back after a brief (HA!) hiatus. VGArk is back too boasting a new design, and the same old content from 6 months ago.
I'll hopefully have everything back up and working in full in the next week or so (now that the site works etc).
Yes, it's finally here. And it's....a little droll. Fairly standard "pop" style song, utterly pointless. I hope you enjoy it.
Please see the terms of use of this by clicking the "View/Download" link, where, you can also see more information about this song, and even download a hard version of it.
I've got various songs that are now coming close to completion, completely completed, compromised by crudliness......hmmmmm.
Any ways. I have done an arrangement of "Too Hot" by Midnight Brown, which is the theme tune to Gamespot's "The Hotspot". The weekly video game, internet broadcast. I'm assuming they're not gonna play it (oh woe is me). So I'll just shove it here for your amusement at some point. It's good fun, if a little badly mixed, but really quite addicting to listen to. Coming soon....a long with the next "proper" song.
Reorientated the Site

The format of the site was a little odd before, so I've moved it closer to a "blog" feel. That might encourage me to make "blog" posts. I've also made some changes to the admin side of thing. Which makes it easier to post etc...and I can also embed videos and music into these entries (special thanks to FofR for inspiration).
Added inline player

What with the trend towards using flash players for everything, I've put them to use on these sites. As well as for the video of my trip to the Tokyo Game Show (on my site for unique and under appreciated games: VGArk.com).
The "stuff" pages for the songs here now have a player. You can now "try before you...download" the songs.
I'm going to Japan for a while, and whilst I'm there...I hope to be doing a video blog.
The blog will be up on the VGArk Forums. I'll merely do it as a series of topics on that board. I hope you enjoy it. :)

It wasn't my fault. Really this time. The data went missing. So I've just patched it up. It's kinda reminded me to back-up more often. :)
